Submissions

We are currently accepting submissions for Volume 28.

1.  Electronic Submission: The UCLA Pacific Basin Law Journal strongly prefers electronic submissions of manuscripts. Please email submissions to pacificbasinlawjournal@gmail.com and attach the manuscript, a cover letter, and a CV in either Word or PDF format. Please place the word “Submission” into the subject heading. Also, please indicate in the subject heading AND the cover letter whether you are submitting for consideration an article or a comment. Electronic submissions receive the fastest consideration.

2.  Submission via Snail Mail: Alternatively, we also accept manuscripts via mail, but request that authors provide an email address for correspondence and a copy of the submission on a CD-ROM or 3.5″ disk. Paper submissions without accompanying electronic copies are strongly discouraged. Please do not submit your manuscript through both electronic and snail mail procedures. Please send manuscripts to the following address:

Pacific Basin Law Journal
Attn: Chief Articles Editor
UCLA School of Law
P.O. Box 951476
Los Angeles, CA 90095-1476

Submissions made via mail will not be returned.

3.  Expedited Review: If you have received an offer of publication from another journal, you can request expedited review by sending an email to pacificbasinlawjournal@gmail.com. Please include information about your deadline(s).

4.  Article Length and Specifications: We have no limit on article length, but preference is given to articles under 25,000 words or 50 journal pages, including text and footnotes. Text and footnotes should follow the latest version of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation.

5.  Acceptance: We will contact you via email/mail if we decide to select your article for publication. Due to the high number of articles submitted, we cannot personally inform you that we have received your article.
